All of my handmade closed corner frames are available in many select hardwoods such as Quarter sawn Oak, Mahogany, Australian Lacewood, Maple, Ebony, and many other species of wood that will be added to the collection.

Most frames for photography today are made of aluminum, or wood with a thin veneer covering, and merely held together with flimsy staples in each corner.  I make all of the frames myself, and hold the same philosophy of craftsmanship with my frames as that of my printmaking.  All of my frames are made of solid hardwood throughout, and I utilize the same principles of mortised joinery practised by fine cabinet makers for decades.

The select hardwood, joinery, and variety of hand rubbed finishes used in all of my frames carry on in the tradition of fine furniture making.  For it is my belief that the frame is the final step in finishing the art, and extremely important in creating the total statement.

This philosophy creates a framed piece of art that is beautiful, timeless, and is a complete visual statement created exclusively by the artists own hand.
